Josh Via is a songwriter and worship leader from Raleigh, NC. In 2007, Josh and his wife, Tasha, launched their non-profit ministry committed to modeling and facilitating a biblical theology of worship in local churches.This happens through various means: worship leading (i.e. Sunday morning worship experience, camps, conferences, etc.), worship team training/seminars, preaching/teaching, song-writing, recording and evangelism both locally and internationally.
Based out of Journey Church in Raleigh, NC, Josh serves as one of the worship pastors and an artist-in-residence. The unique structure of Journey allows Josh the freedom to continue traveling about 20 weeks out of the year to continue fulfilling the calling on his life with the blessing and support of his home church. Though Tasha’s primary responsibilities as a mother of five keep her tied up at home, she periodically travels with Josh and his band adding her unique violin talents to the mix.

Josh and Tasha have five beautiful children (Areyna Joy, 7, Ezekiel Cohen, 5, Alethia Grace, 3, Micaiah Joel, 2, and Jude Warren, 0) and have recently finished the process of adopting their little girl, Alethia, from an orphanage in Uganda, Africa.
