I Am Not Losing To My 16 month Old!!

It is now 2:14 and it’s been a rough afternoon for our “sweet” little boy. Basically it is the battle of the wills for this little guy and you would never believe how STUBBORN he is. He knows how to sign and his favorite is “please” and “thank you”. Well, I got him up from his nap around 12:00 this afternoon and we sat outside for a second before he wanted down to go play in the sand box with Rainy. Well, he still had his jammies on and he only has 2 pairs of long-sleeved ones so we need to try to keep them clean so we went to go put his clothes on. He fought me the whole time so when we were done he was excited that he could go play. I said “oh good Zeke. Can you tell mommy thank you?” He refused over and over and instead throws his head back and swings his hands at me. So, off to bed he goes. He has been in there since then, refusing to sign ANYTHING!!!!!!!! Joy just got here and he wants to play with her, he hasn’t eaten lunch and continues to Refuse to obey. He has made this into such a big deal. It has now been over 2 hours. He has a poopie and is hungary, but I AM NOT giving in!!!
