Our time in South Carolina was great. Dad presented at a home on Saturday night and for a combined Sunday school class Sunday morning. He did great, of course. He had been fighting a cold all week, so was glad that his voice held out.
I must admit that I was a little anxious about staying with the Vaughn’s (memories of Jonathan), but we had a wonderful time, and had time to talk with each of the children individually. Gabrielle is now 20, Stephanie 17, Jonathan 16, Joshua 12, and Anna Grace 10. Each one of them is delightful.
Of course our time with the Via’s was great too – just too short. We got home around midnight on Tuesday. (Sorry we missed your call, Andrew.)
I have caught Dad’s cold, but, if I calculate right, I should be over it by the time we leave for the Repass’s next Tuesday. No sickness allowed while we are together!
