The Sleepy Town Christmas Sessions

Well, it’s here. “The Sleepy Town Christmas Sessions.” My humble little unrefined Christmas EP. It’s free here at joshvia.bandcamp.com.

This little project was birthed right here in our living room in the sleepy little town of Rolesville, NC in basically one weekend. My wife, Tasha, has encouraged me to do this for quite a while as a practical way to raise money for our adoption. Of course this album is free (simply type “0” in the amount). But if you feel so inclined toward a donation, you can know that it’s going toward the goal of bringing home a little Ugandan girl named Shabila, hopefully by this time next year.

So, with the fire cracklin’, coffee brewin’, snow fallin’, and not much else to do with Tasha on bedrest and the kids with my mom, this simple, raw and intentionally-unrefined project came to be. I hope that it will steer your heart and mind toward Jesus, the incarnate Son of God, who came in human flesh to the sleepy little town of Bethlehem two thousand years ago. And two millenia later, sleepy little towns like this one have never been the same.
